Page 1 of 5 Constitution 1) Name. a) The name of the Club shall be the Lea Fields Model Aircraft Club henceforth referred to as LFMAC b) The address of the Club shall be c/o the Honorary Secretary. 2) Objectives. a) The aims of the Club shall be: - b) To provide facilities for the sport of model aircraft construction and flying. c) To assist Members to improve their standards of building and flying and to achieve strict observance of all rules in the interests of safety. d) To encourage club social activities e) To abide by and promote the national policies and rules of the governing body for the sport by affiliation to the British Model Flying Association. (BMFA) 3) Membership. a) Membership shall be open to suitable applicants subject to the approval of the committee and or the body of the club as follows: - b) Senior Members. - Senior Members shall be l8 years of age or over. c) Junior Members. Junior Members shall be over the age of 12 years and under the age of 18 years. Junior Members have no voting rights. Those under the age of 18 years on the date of application will become Senior Members on their birthday without paying the difference in membership fees. d) Associate Members. Associate Members shall be non flying members aged 18 years or over who have no voting rights and who do not need to be members of the BMFA. Flying Members who for some reason cannot fly for a current year will automatically become associate members and will not be required to pay a joining fee when flying recommences. e) Honorary Membership. Honorary Membership status shall be reviewed and confirmed annually at the AGM each year. Honorary membership of the Club will not confer flying status on the Honorary Member unless the said Honorary Member is a member of the BMFA. f) Membership Terms. All persons joining the club agree to be bound by the terms of the Club Constitution
