Alport Model Flying Club

On Sunday 21st June 2009 Alport Flying Club played hosts to Leafields Modeal Aircraft Club at their flying field at Alderwasley.  This has been an annual event and for the first time in many years the weather allowed us to fly.

As is the norm for Alport Flying Club the atmosphere was leisurely and relaxed and there was a plentiful supply of barbecued food and home made cakes. The members of Leafields AC who attended throroughly enjoyed the afternoon and odd members even managed to score 'wins' in the various model catagories judged.

Future Membership.

Leafields has proven so popular this year and as such resulted in increased membership. Unfortunately this means that we cannot accept any more new members. If you are keen to be part of our popular club then contact the Secretary and your  name can be put on a mailing list for notification should a vacancy arise in the future.
